How do I know?

For nearly a decade, my husband and I attended seminars AND read all kinds of books, trying to learn how to dig ourselves out of a very deep and discouraging hole. We spent grocery money and even started charging up our credit cards to pay for the education we so desperately lacked.

However, I just ended up depressed and angry because all we wanted was for me to be able to stay home with the children, and to keep our financial promises on time… but after all we invested in our learning, nothing really changed.

I felt no other choice than to escape “reality”

I was a wreck. I finally just went to bed and decided that I didn’t care if I ever got up. The kids would just have to find their own food and look after themselves, because I couldn’t go on any longer.

If I couldn’t find the freedom from stress that I needed, I would just close my eyes and pretend I already had it. That’s the only place I could feel relief, and if that is where I’d have to do it, so be it. I remember thinking, “Oh, you are so pathetic, Leslie.”

If you stumble onto ONE of the rules like I did, without knowing what you’ve done, success is temporary

Little did we know that what I did that day was actually the beginning of our deliverance… it actually started us on a new path to prosperity. I had applied ONE of the laws without even knowing it. Within the year we were able to buy our first home and have a stable job with insurance.

But since we didn’t realize what I had done, or how our good fortune had come about, we both fell into the same thinking patterns as before and ended up just as strapped as before, except this time with larger bills to pay each month. The stress was still there.

We continued to attend personal development seminars for another three years in our search for wealth, but once again I came to the end of my rope.

I said, “This is the last seminar I’ll ever go to; that’s it.” Fortunately, it was the personal development seminar which finally explained how the laws of success really work, and launched us into the life of our dreams.

After nearly ten desperate years, we finally started to “think right” …and tripled our income in just a few months

Unlike so many of the other personal development seminars out there, there was no hype, nothing “rah-rah” about this one. It was just a simple presentation on how the Universe really operates, and the Laws of Thought which govern the degree to which a person will enjoy wealth.

I was so amazed at the difference a heightened awareness could make, that I jumped at the opportunity to teach the material myself. After some intense training, I began conducting seminars in 2001, because I felt compelled to help others experience the same kind of breakthrough we had experienced.

Keeping your thoughts in the right place allows these circumstances to arrive predictably, and dependably.

The amazing connection is not obvious

Because the connection between our thoughts and our circumstances isn’t obvious, most of us think careless, destructive thoughts without even realizing it… and then wonder why life is so hard.

It’s easy to get excited about a possible windfall, but since we can’t see the evidence of circumstances gathering for our benefit, it’s easy to let doubt creep into our minds.

As a result, the good fortune which had been approaching pulls back, and we never realize that the money we hoped for was nearly ours. There is more significance to the counsel “doubt not, fear not” than we ever realized.

Universe operates in a lawful manner

It’s good news that the Universe operates in an orderly way, because that means that once you learn the laws, you can know that as you follow them, the good fortune MUST come, by law. Just knowing this gives you the mental stamina to endure the “test period” of your faith.

We put [it] to the test for one week… I had just lost my job the week before and our current balance in the account was $100 dollars… We had no idea where $2,000 dollars could come from but felt if there was ever a test this would be it. That week an old employer found out by a mutual friend that I was looking for work. He called me for help which I accepted. This work would only bring in about $1,300 gross and after expenses $630 dollars. That same week two checks came to me from work I had done months ago totaling $410 dollars. If you don’t already enjoy the family time or money freedom you long for, then there is something more to know. It’s as simple as that. Don’t put off discovering what we learned!

HOWEVER – Don’t Enroll If:

1) If you’re looking for a get-rich-quick scheme

If you’re looking for a get-rich-quick scheme, this isn’t for you. It will require honest, thoughtful effort to go through each lesson. I would compare it to a college course, in a sense, because there are assignments and regular evaluations marking your progress and taking you to different levels of comprehension each week.

You’ll earn points along the way for successful completion of each assignment, and your ultimate success will depend primarily upon the amount of effort you give to each individual assignment.

2) If you don’t believe in a Higher Power

I’m not here to convince you that God exists, I expect you already believe it. So if that’s a problem for you, I suggest finding someone else to teach you.

Plenty of my friends and colleagues take a completely scientific approach in an effort to reach the widest audience possible and to avoid offending people. They do a fantastic job, and I’ve learned a lot from them, for which I am grateful.

For me it’s impossible to separate science from God, because in my opinion, the scientific world is His creation. You need to know how I feel about that before making this purchase. I’ll take a general, easy-to-understand spiritual/scientific approach with you, so that you can easily check it against your own beliefs.

I personally don’t believe in receiving financial compensation for selling principles specific to “salvation,” so I keep it general, unoffensive, and focused on overcoming financial hardships.

If New-Agey philosophies make you nervous, you’ve come to the right place. I realize you might be leery about this stuff… so was I. One of my biggest concerns when we started to learn this was:

“How does this fit with my core beliefs and values?”

We discovered that the principles actually supported our fundamental belief system when put into terms that we understood. It only increased our faith and solidified our original beliefs in a Father of our spirits who was mindful of our needs.

NOTE: I’m not a minister. I’m not selling advice on how to get to heaven… I’ll simply teach you how to prosper here and now while strengthening (not jeopardizing) your relationship with God.

I’m not a preacher, but I do concern myself personally with what God thinks of what I do with my life. I’m a wife and mother or seven children, and a teacher… of life’s success principles. Of course, you’ll face challenges throughout your life, but you’ll be given the tools you need to face them with confidence, and overcome each one.

But it begins with the way you think. Changing your thinking-habits isn’t easy, but I will help you do it. As a result, your circumstances will naturally begin to change and become reflective of what you want them to become.

“What if I don’t have any time?”

You want something to help you experience a major “aha” at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home, at whatever hour of day you want, right?

Sometimes it’s hard to pull away from the family to learn or study something new, so for many, it happens after the kids go to bed. (At least that’s how it is at my house, with seven kids including one still in diapers…)

If you can just carve out just 2-4 hours a WEEK to read and experience things that are ENJOYABLE and EXCITING, then I predict you will complete the course in twelve weeks.

HOWEVER, If you can only spare one hour a week, it may take a little longer, but will be no less effective. (Heh, I challenge you to leave it alone after only an hour!)

Bottom line, take it at a pace that works for YOU

Make Money Doing Whatever YOU Love to Do

Universal Law does not discriminate between different occupations, although the greater the service you render, the more money you should expect to receive. But don’t worry, at the right time, you’ll discover ways to increase the value of your service, whatever it may be. You can even use the process to discover your own “magnificent obsession”. Shoot, I even added a passive income stream from gathering up all my already-written creative Christmas letters from over the years!

“How can I know if you’re for real?”

Honestly, I guess you’re just going to have to consult your gut instinct on that one. All I can say is that I’ve been there. I’ve been so frustrated about money that at one point I literally called the police on the neighbor kid who broke my broom (and a couple years later, I called the cops on a 5-year old who stole cookie dough from my fridge. Have YOU ever been that stressed?) We worked multple jobs, day and night, trying to get ahead with cars that wouldn’t work. We’ve dealt with medical bills, job losses, late fees, depression, stress, deadlines, shattered dreams… I have seven years of journal entries to show for it!!!

All I can say is that I’ve been there:

Three years later, not much had changed. I wrote this in my journal just five months before our first major financial breakthrough:

By September-October of that same year (2000) things finally changed for us; and they changed because we learned what I am chomping at the bit to share with you!

…I just worried that I may be excited about this, get it and then lose interest which seems to be a pattern for me. I also worried that with my full life, I could not devote the time, hence wasting money came into my thoughts.

I kept being drawn to the home study course, though. It was tormenting me! I wrote a friend and asked her for advice. She wrote a very firm but loving e-mail back to me.
