The Rare Faith Virtual Conference 2026: Looking Forward with an Eye of Faith

Two years ago, I participated in Guided Mindset Mastery and experienced results that changed my life. But what made those principles so powerful was the place I was coming from—a dark season created by a series of unwise choices that had left me feeling hopeless and overwhelmed. 

I had reached the point where I hoped I simply wouldn’t wake up in the morning. Dying in my sleep or ceasing to exist seemed easier than facing another day of my life and the crushing emotions that came with it.

Then I found Rare Faith and enrolled in Guided Mindset Mastery. Within months, my life began to turn around. As I practiced the principles, changed my thinking, and began setting and pursuing meaningful goals, God multiplied my efforts—literally! Instead of wishing I could disappear, I began bringing light and hope back into my family and my home. A year and a half later, I even gave birth—gave life!—to a beautiful baby girl.

In this session, you’ll hear how doing the inner work first helped change the circumstances on the outside, and see through one woman’s experience just how powerful a shift in mindset can be.

Bethany Garcia is a stay-at-home mom homeschooling her four children between ages 10 and 8 months. When introduced to the Rare Faith principles, she saw her life take a 180 degree turn for the better! She currently lives in East Texas.

Once a struggling student with a 1.5 GPA, I nearly dropped out of high school. The future didn’t look especially promising—but that wasn’t the end of my story. I learned that the way we think about ourselves, our circumstances, and what is possible can profoundly influence what we do next. As I began to rewrite the story I was telling myself, my choices and direction changed too. I eventually graduated from college with honors and became a teacher. 

In this session, we’ll explore what it means to help young people think on purpose, with purpose. How can we help a struggling student see beyond a disappointing grade, a poor decision, or a difficult season? How do we encourage youth to take responsibility for their future without allowing past performance or present circumstances to define who they are capable of becoming?

Kristi Steidley is a secondary teacher, mother of two teenagers, and graduate student pursuing an Education Specialist degree in school psychology. Once convinced she wasn’t smart enough for college, she went from a 1.5 GPA to graduating with honors. Today, she helps young people rewrite their stories, think on purpose, and live intentionally.

Pulled out of school in fifth grade, the library became my middle school and high school, with me as my own teacher. At first I didn’t mind—until I began watching the school bus pass each day, carrying peers who seemed to be moving forward while I remained behind, milking cows and wondering if I’d ever have the chance to walk across a graduation stage. 

By 18, I was managing 130 head of cattle as the farm’s herdsman. By 22, I still felt trapped by circumstances I didn’t know how to change.

Kristen J. Lloyd, “The Confidence Cowgirl,” went from a 5th-grade education to a BYU degree, defying odds. As a speaker, coach, and author of two children’s books, she helps others Find Their Brave, Resilience, and Self-worth. She lives in Heber, UT with her family, grateful to help others as God leads.

Most women have been taught that change happens from the neck up — that if we can just think the right thoughts, our lives will follow. But if that were the whole story, willpower would work more reliably than it does. 

In Thinking/Feeling/Being, we explore the part of the mind model that rarely gets enough attention: the body. Your physical and emotional sensations are not random noise. They are precise, real-time data about what you actually believe — not what you wish you believed, but what your deeper mind is treating as true.

Drawing from the As She Thinks book and course, this presentation helps attendees learn to interpret their body's signals as information rather than obstacles. When you feel anxious, contracted, or stuck, something is communicating. When you feel expansion, ease, or sudden clarity, something is confirming. Learning to distinguish between these states — and knowing what to do with them — is one of the most practical and underused tools in a woman's mindset work.

Attendees will leave with a new framework for understanding their emotional and physical experience, tools for working with the body rather than against it, and a deeper trust in the signals they've often been taught to push through or ignore.

With over 20 years’ experience in stress and trauma recovery, she empowers women to heal, grow, and thrive through emotional alignment and holistic practices. Dawn is a real estate investor and businesswoman passionate about creating meaningful, lasting transformation.

Goals—large and small—can be powerful tools for developing Rare Faith. But what happens when you do everything you know to do and the goal still doesn’t happen? What does that mean about the goal, the principles, or even your faith?

Sometimes the greatest lessons in goal setting come from the goals that didn’t turn out the way we expected.

In this session, Robyn shares lessons from her own goal-setting failures and explores some of the pitfalls that can quietly turn a useful goal into a source of frustration, discouragement, or doubt. You’ll learn how to set goals that help you exercise and develop faith without becoming overly attached to a particular outcome—and what to do when circumstances seem to be moving in exactly the wrong direction.

Discover practical tools for setting better goals, recognizing when attachment may be getting in the way, letting go of the outcome without giving up on what you want, and keeping your thinking right when everything about the process feels wrong.

Because sometimes an unrealized goal isn’t evidence that Rare Faith failed. It may be where some of the most important development of Rare Faith is actually happening.

Vauna Byrd is an RLT Couples Coach, author, and speaker. She helps couples stop fighting, close distance, and find relational joy. Her short story, "Judgment or Compassion" (The Collective Heart), explores compassion for self and others — a value she seeks to embody. She's a wife of 25 years, mother to 6, stepmom to 3, and grandma to 6.

Many years ago, my husband’s unexpected sexual disclosure changed my reality. In the aftermath, I was diagnosed with betrayal trauma and PTSD. Rebuilding my life required learning how to live with uncertainty, while managing intense emotions and thoughts that could quickly spiral into worse-case scenarios.

One of the most powerful tools I used to heal was learning to pause and examine my thoughts for accuracy. When we are hurting or afraid, thoughts can easily begin to feel like facts. Reframing them doesn’t mean candy-coating reality, excusing harmful behavior, or pretending everything is okay. It means learning to see circumstances accurately enough to make wise decisions instead of allowing fear to drive our response.

In this session, you’ll learn simple and effective ways to first identify conscious and subconscious negative thoughts, and then trace these thoughts to the emotions and actions they produce as well as challenge assumptions that fuel catastrophizing. You will also learn a great tool to stop crazy or spiraling thought cycles. Additionally I will show the power of preparation and positive self-talk to quiet your anxious mind, allowing you to function even when life seems chaotic.

Roxanna Johnson is an author, speaker, and advocate, whose faith-based work centers on helping women heal from betrayal trauma. Her message is shaped by lived experience, a background in research, and years of supporting others' recovery. Roxanna brings honesty and compassion to a subject that is often experienced in isolation.

What happens when you stop trying to figure out how the things you want will happen and get very specific about what you want instead? 

For years, Ethan wasn’t sure marriage was even in his future. His relationships repeatedly fell short of what he hoped for until he became much more intentional about identifying the qualities he wanted in a spouse—and allowed himself to believe God could bring the right person into his life within 18 months. Some individuals wait on God while God waits on them. This session explores the Law of Prosperity and the Law of Cause and Effect, and the vacuum principle behind delayed answers to prayer. Delay often signals occupancy, not absence. The space we are asking God to fill is frequently already taken, not by anything physical, but by a belief, an emotion, or an old attachment still holding the room.

A person praying for a loving relationship may find that space already occupied by past heartbreak. A person praying for abundance may find it occupied by inherited scarcity thinking.

Until these are identified and released, there is no room for what has been asked for to arrive. This session will help attendees understand their role as cause rather than effect in receiving, identify what currently occupies the space they are asking God to fill, and begin the practical work of clearing it.

The content draws on neuroscience, biblical principles, and applied cause-and-effect teaching to give attendees a usable framework, not just an inspirational message. Attendees will leave with language for naming their own blocks and a clear starting point for making room for what they have been praying for.

Dr. Cari Skrdla, a spiritual thought leader and neuroscientist, inspires through her profound awakening. Dedicated to teaching transformative wisdom, she designs courses and other methods to help individuals discover their soul-level calling and live authentically aligned with it.

Lena Mattice champions young readers by day and serves as a Rare Faith programs Facilitator by night, creating workshops, blogs, and events that teach faith “that causes things to happen.” Through her posts and Genius Bootcamp® events, she helps busy parents and professionals trade overwhelm for confidence and purpose.

For years, I became so used to meeting expectations, avoiding disappointment, and second-guessing myself that I gradually lost touch with what I wanted. Even simple decisions became difficult. I had lost my voice, closed off my feelings, and weakened my ability to choose.

Then, at age 56, I was invited to ride a bike 375 miles through Greece, Macedonia, and Albania—even though I hadn’t ridden a bike in decades, didn’t like camping, didn’t know how I would pay for it, and wasn’t sure I could physically do it.

That decision became the place where I put Rare Faith principles to the test in my own life. In this session, I’ll share how I learned to recognize an inspired desire, write a vision before I knew how it could happen, move through fear and opposition, and take the next right step.

Along the way, even small moments—asking for the drink I wanted, stopping to celebrate a hill, and accepting help—became evidence that I was finding my voice and learning to choose again.

Attendees will learn how “I don’t know what I want” can sometimes be hiding fear, expectations, or self-doubt, and how small, faith-filled choices can rebuild confidence and help us move forward with God even when the whole path isn’t clear.

As our resident Goal Review Service Expert and the host and coordinator of the Weekly Forum at the School of Life Mastery, Monica has a gift for helping students recognize where they may be getting in their own way and reconnect with the principles that move them forward. 

Grief can come from many kinds of loss—not only the death of a loved one, but also the loss of an opportunity, a relationship, a dream, or an expected future. In this presentation, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of what grief looks like, why it often comes in waves, and where people can get stuck in the process.

We’ll explore seven common misunderstandings about grief, the difference between grief and mourning, two different paths people can take after loss, and practical ways to mourn in a healthy way. Resha Bartlett is a mentor who loves teaching moms how to create peaceful homes. After over a decade of homeschooling and mentoring, she’s seen how children are blessed by their mother’s peace. Resha’s mission is helping children receive true education by helping their mothers become calm, Spirit-led teachers.

We are living in a time when building Zion is increasingly important as we prepare for Christ’s return. This session explores principles of building Zion through abundance, love, and truth—and learning to release scarcity, competition, and fear.

An important part of that process is bringing our perception of our own worth into alignment with truth. When we recognize our own divine worth as equal to the worth of those around us, bonds are broken and we become freer to give and receive with greater ease and love.

In this session, we’ll explore three blocks to abundance and five ways to more fully partake of it. Through personal stories, I’ll share times when competition affected my relationships—and what happened when I surrendered instead to love and opened myself to receive.

As our hearts open to love, we naturally begin to live the law of consecration: trusting that as we give and sacrifice, God is able to provide abundantly for our needs and righteous desires.

God is a God of abundance. Zion is the fruit of living that law.
