Q/A:
Q: How do the affiliate links work? What is the 20% you're saying we could earn?
A: The checkout page invites users to upgrade to unlimited access to all conference recordings for $199. So people can sign up for free, but some people will upgrade. That is what you can earn 20% on.
Q: Is my 50 minute window going to be purely me speaking only? Can I have a slideshow up while I'm talking or is that not possible? Will help me know how to prepare and practice my presentation.
A: The 50 minutes is purely you. We will introduce you for a couple minutes but then the time is yours. You can have a slideshow, yes.
Q: I want to change my Call to Action (CTA) at the end, instead of just inviting people to my newsletter only. I want to talk about a tool I use AND offer a free 1-hour coaching session for anyone wanting clarity. I want to attach an email for listeners to contact me at. Is it okay to change the ask from what I put originally on the submission form to these new things? If so, what does that look like? Do you just put it up on your screen at the end?
A: You are welcome to provide your email for listeners to reach out to you. The free coaching session and tool sound great. At the end of your presentation, you can verbally tell them about your invitation, and you can have a slide showing them how to take advantage of it if you like, or we can drop that info into the chat, but it's better on screen for those who watch the replay. Keep in mind that the offer should be evergreen, so it shouldn't matter if people respond to it in October, or December, or whenever. Some people get the unlimited access pass to all conference sessions, and might wait months or longer to watch them all. If you would like to write up a description of the offer and link or CTA, I can include it in the text on the page where your replay will be hosted.
Q: Is it over zoom or some similar interface?
A: We will be using Zoom.
Q: Any recommendations for marketing?
A. Once we build the conference page (hopefully by the end of this week), you can share the page and tell your contacts that you have been invited to speak at this conference, encouraging them to register for free. Watch for updates when those materials are ready. However, just being real about it right now leading up to the event is usually well received. Consider sharing how hopeful you were about being included in the event and why—what made you want to be a part of the event, how you felt when you got accepted, and why you're excited to share on your topic. These are very natural human things to discuss, especially if you're not yet providing links but are just bringing awareness to what's happening. 1-3 posts before the actual link is available can make a difference, especially if they are genuine. The more you talk about the experience without sharing a link, in fact, the more FB will boost it in their algorithm, so when you DO finally post a link, there are already more eyes on your feed. Keep in mind that some posts can take a few days to gain traction, so plan accordingly.
Q. Is there a recommended format to follow? Any advice from you or other presenters on how to have an effective and meaningful presentation?
A. Here's a framework you can follow, or just to give you ideas:
- Where I was — What was happening in my life? What wasn’t working? What did I want, fear, or struggle to understand?
- What I learned — Which Rare Faith principle(s) became important? Keep this focused rather than trying to teach everything.
- What I did differently — This is probably the most valuable part. What did applying the principle actually look like? What choices did I make? What happened internally when circumstances hadn’t changed yet?
- What happened — Tell the story, including setbacks, surprises, and the way things unfolded. Specifics make it memorable.
- What I know now — What do I understand differently because I lived through it? What would I tell the person sitting in the audience who is where I used to be?
- Give them something to do — End with a question, exercise, challenge, or simple action they can take into their own lives.
You do not need to feel like you need to fill 50 minutes with instruction. A meaningful story told slowly, with enough context for people to feel the uncertainty along the way, can be far more powerful than a big slideshow of teaching.

Conference Participation Policies
1) CULTURE - While our community members are from various backgrounds and belief systems, it was built for participants to learn principles of success inside the context of the gospel of Jesus Christ and his restored Church. Please keep your presentation aligned with this focus. Scripture references, etc. to support your message are welcome and encouraged, but also please don't assume that your participants are all LDS. In short, feel free to use scripture—even modern scripture—without holding back. Just keep in mind that not everyone tuning in will know what Relief Society is, for example. A simple tweak like saying ‘In my faith…’ instead of ‘We all…’ makes your message both powerful and evergreen. Easy fix, big impact!
2) VOCABULARY - The world is full of success coaches, and for many in our community, the New Age approach does not resonate. We exist to serve those who want to understand the principles from a faith-based / layman-level scientific point of view. So, to get the best response from our Rare Faith community attendees, here are a few tips:
- Avoid using the term "Law of Attraction". In our community we instead use Bob Proctor's term, the "Law of Vibration", which is one of 8 laws studied in our Rare Faith programs. See attachment for the full list that our community is most familiar with.
- Inside the Rare Faith brand, the "Universe" is not a substitute term for "God". We encourage praying to, co-creating with, and giving credit to God for all we receive, not the Universe.
- Use the term "manifest" sparingly, or avoid. It is a buzzword in New Agey circles, and we want the Rare Faith approach to feel different. Scripturally, it is used sparingly. For many, it has a "magic trick" connotation. Instead, we help members hold images of "unseen help" (ie. the Lord's messengers) working behind the scenes to help resources and circumstances "come about". Note - we don't encourage asking angels directly for help, but instead pray to God the Father and ask Him to send his angels to assist. "Manifested my dreams" could easily be "realized my dreams". "Manifested my goal" could be "achieved my goal". I'm not saying don't ever use the word, just be conscious of this concern and don't overuse it.
3) TERMS and BENEFITS - This is a volunteer speaking opportunity to make a contribution, inspire, and uplift our community. If you confirm that you will be joining us as a presenter, you will receive:
- A copy of your recorded session for your own use.
- A free ticket to attend the event live (online), and access to the replays.
- Increased exposure for your related offerings
- An opportunity to grow, build confidence, and plant seeds
- An opportunity to collect contact info during your own session from attendees who want to learn more from you.
4) FOCUS - Each presentation should meet one (or more) of the following objectives:
- Compelling stories about the power of mindset (to inspire courage and increased desire to understand and practice the Rare Faith principles)
- Unique perspectives on the laws of success (to show how the laws have effect in ways or in situations that participants might not have considered before)
- Applying Rare Faith principles in a specific realm (ie. wellness, parenting, business, relationships, marriage, mental health, finances, etc.)
- TIP - Tie your message back to concepts from any of the ebooks available in the top menu at the School of Life Mastery, and your class will be a hit with our community members.
5) ENERGY HEALING - If your application mentioned any kind of energy healing modality, please review our official stance below and prepare your presentation accordingly.
By participating in this event, you agree to abide by these policies.
Energy Healing Policy at Rare Faith / School of Life Mastery:
"At Rare Faith / School of Life Mastery, we recognize that the practice of energy work or healing can be a powerful tool which has merit and foundations in science like medicine or physics. Often it is mixed with spirituality which can sometimes bring unintended / unwanted results... and since we run a faith-based company that does not provide energy healing services nor offer instruction on how to use it wisely, it is no longer mentioned in our curriculum. It has previously been mentioned as something to consider with discernment if a student needs extra help outside of our programs, but it is not inherently necessary to explore it in connection with Rare Faith principles or effective goal achievement. While we are an independent company not officially affiliated with nor endorsed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we do strive to align with its official counsel and policies. Therefore, energy work and/or energy healing will not be addressed in our programs, communities, or events. While this is likely disappointing to some of our students and facilitators, we do believe and trust that this decision is founded in wisdom. Thank you for your understanding."
